CLA is advising banks and financial institutions on regulatory matters, work-outs, credit facilities, product promotion & development and syndications. CLA also counsels on matters relating to legal problems encountered in the provision of local, international or transnational finance and methods that have evolved to identify the appropriate system by which legal problems are to be resolved. Our information cell keeps the clients posted on instruments and mechanism applicable to the supply of local and international finance, including co-financing arrangements and also the legal problems peculiar to particular forms of lending/borrowing e.g., trade finance, term loans, bonds or note issues, project finance, sovereign lending and problems of security, contract terms and hedging and derivatives. Additionally, we are also providing services in income tax, sales tax & financial advisory, internal auditing, maintaining accounts, reporting etc. We also draft and have executed registered mortgages, equitable mortgages and charges/lien etc., for our clients. Other advisory services include matters relating to letter of credits and negotiations thereof and import, export, working capital and project financing.
